Good Morning from cold NC,
It was a quiet week here. Since Hailey had Thursday night off, we went out with Brian and crew for Dean’s and my birthday dinners.
Dean smoked some ribs and sausage Friday
Saturday, we watched KU and the Panthers lose and I finished a puzzle.
Sunday off to church, lunch and then home. Hailey drove back to school in the afternoon.
I saw the 1970 phone book photo of the Chiefs/Royals stadiums on Facebook and thought I would share.
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Gatha
Good Morning from mild Kansas. 43 degrees here.
I had a very busy week. Per usual. I did take down outside decorations and got them in the basement. I also got all upstairs trees and decorations down and put out a few things for Valentines Day. I still have to take tree and Santa’s down in the rec room. I need to put together some more storage shelves and organize a bit in the storage room.
Saturday my friend Wanda and I drove up to Topeka and did a prayer, singing and read the Bible for our state before the next session starts today. There were about 350 people from all over the state. We stood around the rotunda inside on the 3 rd floor and sang hymns. It was beautiful! Then the rams horns were blown, which gave me goosebumps. We were all given parts of the Bible to read out loud. So we went off and read our parts while all others read their parts, it took 2 hours to read the entire Bible out loud simultaneously. Wow it was great!
That evening I had tickets to the New Theater. Dinner and play. We had a great time. The name of the play was Nobody’s Perfect. Very funny.
Sunday Patrick and Deanna picked me up to go to Jami’s to celebrate Deanna’s 64 th birthday. I had a great time. So good seeing Eric’s, and Brady’s families. Got to see Deanna’s sister and her brother Mike. We played a round of 5 crowns with Jami, Adam, Katlyn and Scott.
This week is lining up to be a busy one as well. I have dinner tonight at Tim and Lisa’s, Bible Study. I promised Wanda I would do a centerpiece for her, and I hope to get the rec room Christmas decorations down.
On the 26 th Steph and I are flying to San Antonio to meet my great granddaughter, Mariella for a few days.
Never dull here!
Hope you have a Blessed Week!
Love, prayers and Big Hugs!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Michaela
Gatha I loved the phone book cover! Wow! I for one am not excited about the Chiefs and Royals moving.
Great pictures. The stadium photo from the phone book is cool! I finally got 4 areas of Christmas down. Took advantage of 60 degree weather last week and got outside decorations put away. Inside, the banister, mantle, and tree which took two days. Got to the lights and decided to call it quits for that day. Had snow flurries yesterday morning. So the wood chip chopper, Nick, went out and brought up more cut logs and split them. I worked on my 6X6’s for the Arts Depot fundraiser. Belle still inside, but today is warmer in the mid 40’s, so she is outside during the day. We have a bakers dozen of lambs outside now, and 7 in the barn with their moms. I will finish one more 6X6 before I tackle the remaining Christmas decorations. Now off to the post office, have a great week, hugs and prayers are with you all! Love, Yaya
Hi family! Love ya and miss ya!! Last week was really busy with doctor appointments everyday for Charlie and work was super busy too, it’s hard to know if I’m coming or going. I finally got Christmas down this weekend finished the last trip up the attic starts last night! Hopefully I can find a trail in the next couple weeks and clear the cobwebs out of my joints.
That’s all I got!
Bucko
