Happy Anniversary:  Dan & Janolyn Jan. 29

Prayer:  Cathy Jones continued healing; Yasmin safe delivery- due any minute.  Emily and Natalie healthy pregnancies,   Everyone affected by the fires in California and the people in Western Carolina dealing with the cold weather and hard living conditions.

Good Morning from cold NC:  We are welcoming a cold wave for this week!!   Last week’s weather was colder than normal but not near to what we are expecting this week.

It was finals week for the girls, so they were home most of the week.  Tuesday, I took them to lunch, and we did a little shopping.

Saturday was Kenzie’s birthday , but she wasn’t feeling well, so it was a low-key celebration at home with her favorite pizza brought in instead of going out and we ate before the Chief’s game.

Sunday, after church, Dean and I met Mark, Rachel ,and the boys for our birthday lunch.   Brian, Jessica ,and Hailey left for Charleston SC for Hailey to check out the College of Charleston since Jessica and Hailey have Monday off.  They will be heading home today.

Have a blessed week,

Love,

Gatha

Coastal Georgia is where Hailey should be checking out! By the beach! Lots of hangouts! Her uncle to keep tabs on her(or her to keep tabs on me) extra bedrooms for when her parents want to check up on her only a 5 hr drive, except tomorrow when we are supposed to be getting ice.

Chilly down in FL. We have a frost warning for tonight. We’ve been busy and exhausted from moving. Our lease was up and we found a complex back in Deland that has individual cottages. Our new address is:
1276*** (spreadsheet)
Deland, FL 32724
Although when trying to have mail forwarded there’s no such address. I’ll have to make a trip to the USPS and see what they want me to do.
We were able to put the piano in the extra bdrm and down size to a sleeper sofa. We moved all our clothes. I must say Dennis is a champion at throwing out unwanted clothes. He was moving something and rack fell along with the boxes stacked on top-right on top of him. Just as that happened I heard mine fall. Removing all the clothes from the fallen rack took a lot more time than hanging them up in the first place. Having a place to put them while waiting for the contractor is the hard part. Every move we make we are down sizing a little more. This place is 1030 sq ft. Has a large community pool and 2 pickleball courts. A large dog park AND a small back yard with the astro turf and rocks AND a built in doggie door. Copper has figured it out but it’s too heavy for Findley. They’ll have to buddy up and learn to let Copper open it and Findley go through. The complex is called Yardly Crossings in Deland if you want to look it up.
Took a break to watch the Chiefs and listened to the other games. Washington’s QB is very impressive.
Yasmin will be induced tomorrow if we don’t have a baby today.
Stay warm everyone!
Love,
PJ

Happy Monday! 10 degrees in Tennessee. We had snow flurries all day yesterday, it was like a snow globe, but nothing stuck. Temps to drop all day, 4 tomorrow. Wind chills are in the minuses.
Katie and Alex are enjoying the snow on mountains, Alex in Canada at Revelstoke, Katie and Robert in Tahoe. The pictures bring back ski trip memories with family.
Have a blessed week family. Go Chiefs!

It’s 11 degrees here in Kansas. Heat wave!

My week was busy!
I did finally get the whole driveway shoveled before the coldest snap hit and froze it to the ground! The piles were higher than my shovel! Trooper the dog came over to keep me company.
I had a ladies luncheon, usual stuff like store and such. I did get a cortisone shot in my left knee. To help with the pain.
I did go to a hockey game on Friday night. It was a minor league, in Independence. These folks take it seriously. Lots of fun. We ate dinner at a small place called the Caddy Shack in downtown, about 11:00!
Saturday was GAME ON! I was at Tim and Lisa’s for the game. After the game we went to a small place in Shawnee to celebrate Lisa’s birthday with their camping buddies. I was the DD again. This is fine with me.
Sunday I stayed home. Rested! It was too cold to go outside. Glad I did not have a dog to walk!
Still working on my storage project. 1 1/2 shelves built! I will finish  this week.
Hope You all have a Blesses Week!
Love, Prayers and Big Hugs!
Michaela
