Good Morning from chilly NC. We are thankful we just had rain this Saturday. There was a possibility of ice, but the temperatures did not get that cold. Sounds like KC may be getting some more white stuff in the next few days, and we will be getting more rain.
My first week of retirement was about the same. I went in and volunteered in the Children’s Ministry one day. I love the ladies I have worked with, so seeing them one day a week will be uplifting, and I have Bible Study one day a week at church. It will be nice to stay connected. I’m still trying to finish my Christmas puzzle so that will definitely help fill some of my time 😊
They recognized my retirement in church Sunday. I have to say for someone who has tried to be a behind the scenes person, that was a little out of my comfort zone. But it was very nice, and I survived being in front of 1500 people. Brian, Jess, the girls and Mark, Rachel and her boys came, and we all went out to dinner afterwards. I was very thankful to have them all there.
Once last note…..what’s the deal with the upcoming Chief’s game being on Peacock????
