Good morning from NC.
Hailey came home Wednesday for fall break and left on Sunday. It was nice to see her in between her shifts at work. Kenzie had Homecoming on Saturday and had a great time. I spent Saturday doing some deep cleaning. Now I need to tackle the container plants outside that need to be removed and replaced with fall/winter plants.
The Nor’easter brought us some wind and rain, but not too much, certainly not like the coastal areas.
We enjoyed the Chiefs in on Sunday.
Praise for the release of the 20 living hostages today.

We’re enjoying the cool fall nights on the weekends with movies. The neighbor copied our setup and started doing movies outside too this week; we did have a laugh since my movies get pumped through a *much* louder set of speakers he has some audio envy. Brit and twins went to spend a couple of days up towards Charlottesville at one of our time shares, it’s pretty quiet and out of the way, so they enjoyed the peace while I stuck around for work. I can’t complain much about remote work, definitely more comfortable, plus I have company with Lucy at my heels all day. Congrats to another new baby! Prayers for everyone that needs healing!
