Good morning from NC.
Enjoying milder temperatures and leaves starting to change. Quiet week here just normal day to day stuff, mowing grass, working on puzzles etc. We did enjoy the Panther’s win yesterday coming from down 17 points at half time to win the game .
Have a blessed week and prayers for all.
Love,
Gatha
Read this today and wanted to share.
ne of the most well-known and well-loved passages of Scripture is 1 Corinthians 13. You hear it at weddings, you hear it at funerals, and you hear it often. It describes love not just as a feeling or emotion but as an active way of living. By focusing on the passage today, we can see the qualities and actions of our lives through which love can deepen and mature.
For example, love grows when we learn to wait and endure and give others space without frustration.Patience.
Love grows when we actively seek the good of others in both our words and our actions. Kindness.
Love grows when we celebrate others’ blessings and success instead of comparing ourselves and wishing it were ours. Letting go of envy.
Love grows when we realize that everything is not about us but about serving others. Humility.
Love grows when we honor others instead of being rude or dismissive. Respect.
Love grows when we do not insist on getting our way, but we consider the needs of others first. Selflessness.
Love grows when we do not keep a record of wrongdoing, and we seek reconciliation. Forgiveness.
Love grows when we are concerned about honesty and integrity and deplore deceit. Rejoice in truth.
Love grows in resilience, steadiness, and determination. Bearing, believing, hoping, and enduring.
And, ultimately, the greatest gift, greater than faith or hope, is love because it endures forever. Love is not temporary. It will last into eternity.
Here is a word from the Word:
“Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)

New jobs are fun; started my new job Monday too. It’s in the basement, remote work, but it’s going to be nice to see a paycheck again.
