Good Morning from sunny NC.
Pretty normal week here. All the girls had homecoming this Saturday, so they spent the week getting ready for that, nails done, spray tans, etc…. We have spent time outside, mowing grass, trimming plants, cleaning the outside furniture, etc. I did plant a star Jasmine and look forward to seeing if it grows like it’s supposed to. 😊
Mark has asked for pray for Rachel’s family. Her dad, Tom (68) is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, and they just found out his melanoma cancer that had been in remission has metastasized and is through out his body. Mark , Rachel, and her boys flew out last night to Louisville so the boys could see him. They were hoping her dad would be coherent and could spend some quality time with the boys. They just found this out on Thursday, so it has been a lot to absorb.
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Gatha
Good morning from sunny Dry Kansas!
Busy weekend here! We had Allysa’s baby shower. It was nice. Friday night Steph, Cierra, Ellaina and Steph’s sister in law and daughter spent the night. The girls did a balloon arch. It turned out great, but it was too windy to put outside, so it surrounded the front door. After everyone left I did dishes and cleaned up then watched the Royals game.Sunday we went to the Renaissance festival, Lisa , Ellaina and a friend of Lisa’s. Saw 1 man in tights, thank goodness that was all. There were all kinds of creatures dressed, or particularly dressed I might add! Not really my thing. I have never been before in my whole life. Now I know why! But it was warm, and very dusty! Just cloud after cloud of dirt dust flying around! Made it hard to breathe. We saw a bird show it featured 3 birds a baby Eagle, a red tail hawk, I had one of those in my back yard in Florida. He visited every afternoon. Then the last bird was a turkey buzzard! Great! I had Pleanty of them down in Florida on neighbors roofs and mine! Stomach gastric juices is like battery acid to digest all the bad stuff they eat. It is interesting. We walked about 4 miles up and down hills! Finally went home about 5:00.We had Lasagna soup at Lisa ‘s that had been cooking in crock pot all day! It was delicious! I had 2 bowls! Have some for dinner today.I have leftovers for a week between pizza, charcuterie board meats. Cheeses and fruit! Now need to play catch up, paperwork. Get oil changed in car, and other projects I have on a long list to do. Like start Christmas painting projects. I have a day bed to put together. And refurbish the grandfather clock. Never dull here.Hope you have a Blessed week! Love, prayers and Big Hugs!Michaela
