Good Morning from NC.
I have finished my Christmas decorating and enjoying the finished product. Now onto addressing Christmas Cards and finishing my shopping.
Wednesday evening Jessica, her mom & dad, Kenzie, Zoe. and I (Hailey was working) went to our Southern Women’s Christmas show. It is a lot of different vendors located in 3 buildings. It’s always a fun way to get in the Christmas spirit. Jessica’s dad always drives as well because the girls usually only last about an hour and want to leave. But Kenzie and Zoe were all in and we all stayed the whole time. Upon arrival finding a parking spot was a little bit of a challenge since there was a concert and filming the movie “Roofman” with Channing Tatum happening near the event.
Now that the sunroom is decorated and clear of all the boxes, I have started on my Christmas puzzle.
We did not enjoy the Chiefs loss Sunday…..onto the next game against the Panthers….that should put them back on a winning streak!
Have a blessed week
Love,
Gatha

Good morning from rainy Kansas!
Thank you everyone for the prayers for the birth of Juliane. He is perfect.
Allysa went into labor last Monday afternoon. Went to the hospital around 7 her water broke. Stephanie went up to hospital right away. Well Allysa’s boyfriend and his mother got into an argument and both were immediately kick out of the hospital permanently for the whole length of the baby’s stay. So Stephanie called me as I was getting ready for bed! So I helped with her all night long. Allysa was throwing up and having contractions. It was a busy night. Baby Julianne arrived at 8:40 am. I was the pushing coach. Steph was FaceTiming the boy so he could see the birth process.
Stephanie and I took turns staying with her. Stephanie spent the nights and was there a good part of the day. I was there from morning to nights. Allysa and baby went home on Thursday. Back to the boyfriends mothers house. Praying for that situation.
Friday I spent with Lisa Christmas shopping. Then Lisa Tim and I went to dinner.
Saturday Lisa and I put together a table I bought her for Christmas to put in front hall. It has barn doors on the front. After we were finished we decorated it and redecorated her kitchen with farm house decor.
I had a trivia party at our club house Saturday evening it was fun.
Sunday after church. Allysa was at Stephanie’s house so I went over to hold the baby for a bit. Then went to Tim’s to watch the game. He fixed chili for his guests.
Well now the Chiefs have lost I can trade my winner chief shirt in for another. Good thing it was full of holes!
Hoping for a quiet week. I have a lot to do to get ready for Thanksgiving. I am still trying to decorate my family room downstairs. Still have boxes all over down there. That is not like me!
Hope you all have a Blessed week! Love, prayers and Big Hugs!
