Good morning from NC.
Last week was used for prepping for Christmas…all the presents have been bought, wrapped and under the tree. I finished my 5th Christmas puzzle and made Grandma Jones sugar cookies on Saturday. Hailey and Kenzie plan on decorating them Tuesday night. Christmas looks to be warm here, in the 70’s… I see Christmas shirts not sweaters and darts ,billiards, ping pong, pickleball as possibilities.
Have a blessed week and a wonderful Christmas.
Love,
Gatha
Luke 2:10: “And the angel said unto them, ‘Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.'”
Wishing everyone a Beautiful and Blessed Christmas, with a year filled with joy and blessings to follow. I don’t communicate very often but you are all in my heart and thoughts and prayers. And you will be with me as we celebrate Midnight Mas at Holy Family! Marcia
Thank you Marcia! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to everyone from balmy Kansas! We have had almost every kind of weather this past 2 weeks! From very high winds, snow, freezing temps to 55 degrees right now!
This past week put me very behind in everything! We celebrated December birthdays on the 13 th and also shared the stomach flu! Not fun! I think 2 out of 9 were ok!
Now I am getting back into the swing of things. I have to not sweat the small stuff. If I don’t get to bake cookies, it’s ok. Weird but ok.
Friday night Patrick and Deanna came over for a very nice evening. We went to the nest for dinner, then we played a round of 5 crowns! We got to catch up and visit for hours! What a nice time. So special.
Saturday I met John and Pat ( our old friends)for dinner. I say that loosely because my stomach still does not have much of an appetite!
Sunday I did make my puppy chow, pretzels and Oreo cookies.
The cards are finally sent, presents wrapped, and grocery shopping to do today. I am glad I started early.
Tomorrow I will babysit the 1 1/2 year old from across the street. I will host my family on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day at Tim and Lisa’s, Friday evening Pat and Deanna are having the family gathering at their house, God Bless them. Saturday, Lisa’s cousins, and Monday my friend Wanda is hosting a gathering. Always on the go here!
I pray you all have a Blessed and Safe Christmas to all of you! Remember the Reason for the Season!
Love, prayers and Big Hugs!
Michaela
Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. Luke 2:12
Thank you for the prayers for Charlie. He got to have his renal stent removed today along with three large stones. He will go home later this afternoon. We don’t have any doctor appointments next week! Woo hoo.
Alex is in town and we are all enjoying Mabel time. Can’t wait for Christmas Day to see Mabels’s excitement when she unwraps her presents!! Alex treated Mabel to her first hockey game last night complete with her Predator’s snow suit!
Thank you Gatha,
Look at how long the list of contacts has grown from the first boar report! Merry Christmas to everyone and may the New Year bring you peace, prosperity, happiness and God’s blessings I love you all…
Richard

Merry Christmas from 80 degree central Florida. My impatients are still blooming the oak trees are dropping hundreds of acorns. They hit the sliding door and sounds like they might break right through. The dogs always look at me wondering if we should take cover. Findley likes to eat them and then pays for it later with a bloated tummy.
My last nursing home concert was last Thursday. Many of the choir enjoyed a nice early dinner after at a local BBQ. They’ll have a short break and then get back to rehearsal January 13th. The Stetson Choir returns to rehearsal January 12. Our director will be retiring after our Spring semester. It’s going to be hard to top the Jubilate Deo from last semester. I think will be singing everything in English this program.
Dennis and I will be celebrating Christmas here. Christmas Eve church, dinner and Christmas morning with Yasmin’s family. Ezekial and Thomas are so excited. Looking forward to seeing them open their presents.
Have a blessed Merry Christmas.
Healing prayers.
Love,
PJ
