Good Morning from still chilly NC.
Finally got the Christmas cards done and, in the mail, last week. I did some baking with still more to come and onto to getting presents wrapped.
Brian and Jessica’s friends who are missionaries and home on furlough from Kenya visited one night. It was nice to see them and their children.
Mark, Rachel, and the boys were in Pittsburgh this weekend for the Steelers/Browns football game
Dean and I attended our church’s Messiah performance Sunday night. Always such a wonderful experience. And then watched the Chiefs game – the doink for the win!!!!

Hello from Basehor KS. They say it’s warm here! But 50 degrees is still cold to me! I guess I will adapt!
Short week for me. Got home Tuesday night from San Antonio. Tried to catch up on missed sleep. But I think that sleep is gone, can’t get it back! I got my staples out of my head on Wednesday. Tried to do bills and catch up on correspondence.
Thursday met Lisa and Ellaina for some shopping, then went to their house to finish decorating for Christmas. A few bows and wreaths and such.
Friday I finished decorating my house.
Saturday Tim and Lisa hosted a party for the camping family and friends. I went over to help at 1:00. It was a nice party. Lisa’s knees are done, so she needs help. I spent the night and helped pick up. I got home around 1 .
I wrapped a few packages that need to go out today.
I hope to get to cards this week and finish painting pictures for kids, get organized with what I have boughten maybe wrap!
Never dull here. Wednesday ladies lunch in Weston, Thursday JR birthday dinner, he wants to go out. Friday kids are coming over here for dinner for Bill’s birthday celebration. Saturday?
Plus HOA meeting tonight.

Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes for Charlie. He is doing well considering his face plant in the shower. We went to the doctor this morning and got a good report. It will take awhile for the bruising and swelling to go down, he just tells all that Rudolph kicked him in the head.
Shout out of praise for the three firemen that came quickly, and the three women EMS, couldn’t have asked for better help. Also a shout out to the pharmacist who filled his pain pills so quickly. Great emergency workers!!! I never knew 8 of us could fit in our bathroom!
Now to settle his head for a long winter nap, we have hung up the suit for the season, can’t have Santa scaring anyone.
