Good Morning from NC.
I finally feel like I am back among the living….still have a cough but it is a little better – someone referred to it as the 100 – day cough! I was wiped out last week, Saturday – Monday in bed, very weak. Finally felt a little stronger on Tuesday and sat up part of the day. Got a little stronger each day. By Thursday I was stir crazy but still weak, but we managed to go out for an anniversary lunch. I have not been that out of commission like that other than vertigo. But thankful to be feeling better each day.
Mark has spent some time in Western North Carolina laying the steel for a new bridge that was destroyed during the hurricane. So much still to be done in the mountains.
Hailey has made her choice and will be attending the University of North Carolina – Wilmington (on the coast😊) next year. I know she is glad to have that decision made and move forward. Still can’t believe she is in her last year of high school.
Last week was rainy and dreary, with a little milder weather for a couple days, and this week will bring some very cold weather…hopefully this will be coming to an end soon.
