Good Morning from NC.
Last week was filled with attending sports. Hailey had 3 soccer games and Lucas had a flag football game on Saturday.
Friday was work in the yard day – Dean mowed, and I planted a rose bush at the edge of the woods and some container plants on the side of the house.
It’s so beautiful here with the wisteria, cherry blossoms and dogwoods now blooming as well. Tons of pollen but the scenery is beautiful.
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Gatha
Thunderstorms here yesterday and now again today. DENNIS HAS HIS KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY SCHEDULED! Friday, April 11th! No MRI needed, just X-rays! Now that he’s old he qualifies for Tri Care Prime insurance! He’s also able to use the doctor that was scheduled to do it before covid. No more trying to jump through the VA’s hoops, that’s good because he can’t jump at all. Then 3 months and then the other knee. Can’t wait for him to be out of pain.
Emily and Justin’s sweet little Stevie Jo had her first doctor’s appointment today. She is so cute. They got to go home Saturday night and are settling in to their new life with a baby. Maddie and Luis closed on their new house on the 28th and are in the process of moving from their apartment. Their new address is: 377 Conifer Lane. Ball Ground, GA 30107.
Phil, Kelly and Ethan visited Saturday after they had a look around Embrey Riddle up in Daytona. Ethan will be attending there in the Fall along with all the other aeronautical majors. We played several games of pickleball and then went to Texas Road House for some much needed meat!
We got to see Zeke and Thomas play tee-ball Saturday morning, hold Isaiah and then again on Sunday while we were playing cards. The tee-ball games are very enjoyable. Hats off to those coaches. I think Zeke and Thomas know where 1st is. Thomas doesn’t want to share 1st with the 1st baseman and tried to stand on both bags(the white and orange bag for safety). Then he put on one of his teammates sun glasses and actually put his hands on his knees in a ready position. I guess he needs sunglasses.
Our first of 14 nursing homes concerts is Wednesday! We have one almost every day for the next couple weeks. When they’re over we’ll head over to Nashville to hold Stevie Jo. We’ll stop by Maddie and Luis’s on our way back home. No golf for Dennis for a while!
If you’re looking for a fun interesting mystery series to binge try “Residence” on Net Flix.
Love and joyful blessings,
PJ
Wow! Thanks for sharing an action packed week with us!
Walking turtles is about it down here, slow and steady. I think Natalie is next up to bat. Can’t wait
Richard
Great pics! Thanks for the updates. Stevie Jo is so bright eyed, taking in all the things!
Thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes. I enjoyed a good hike to some waterfalls. Storms here last night and more coming Wednesday. March is going out like a lion!
