He is Risen !!
Happy Birthday: One of the rare weeks with no birthdays….unless I’m missing something!
Prayer: Dennis recovery from knee replacement surgery / Natalie, Raegan, and Katherine – healthy pregnancies.
Good morning from sunny NC.
Last week was filled with 3 soccer games, mowing, watering plants and wiping down the lingering pollen(hopefully we are about done with that.)
Sunday – celebrated Easter services and then meal at Brian’s with Jessica’s parents and her brother and family as well. Mark, Rachael, and the boys headed to Hilton Head for Spring Break.
This morning, we are heading to the beach for the girls’ spring break…looks like nice weather.
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Gatha
He Has Risen Indeed!
Good morning from Sunny Basehor!
It was cloudy and cool and rainy most of the weekend!! It’s 56 degrees now, but they are calling for warmer weather the next few days. I am so ready for Spring.
Dinner Saturday was nice. I actually remembered to serve everything I made!
Lots of food, laughs and baby time.
Sunday I went to Tim and Lisa’s for a homemade pasta dinner. It was delicious.
We got in a game of 5 crowns. My winning streak still in tack!
Need to mow the yard when the grass dries out. Today I have a yearly back checkup. These doctors just find a way to keep you coming back. Having a garage sale next weekend, it’s the neighborhood garage sale weekend hopefully I can get rid of the hot tub we used I”in Florida. Don’t have a lot to get rid of. 7:00 am Friday and Saturday!
Hope you all have a Blessed Week! Travel mercies for Dean and G’s family and Pat and D’s family.
Love, prayers and Big Hugs!
Michaela
Commit thy way until the Lord, trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5
Hello from Tennessee. Katie and I celebrated her birthday Saturday shopping on the square.
I did all the things you do for Easter, cookies, cinnamon rolls, ham, frozen fruit salad and more. A nice Easter brunch with Katie and Robert. We played Quidler and Slam. Katie won all the games, Robert hung in there and humored me by playing!!!
We had seven Easter services at church and hosted over 9,000 people, I only sang at three of the services. Bill and Elisa brought Charlie to the Saturday night service, yep, they are still dating. She went to his house for Easter dinner and met his boys! It was a beautiful weekend here. We didn’t hide any eggs, or take any photos! I enjoyed a long nap late in the afternoon.
It is the busy time of year in schools all the year end celebrations and a lot of extra work.
Have a great week!
Love,
Bucko
We enjoyed everything Easter. Great church service, overflowing. Baked the famous Grandma Jone’s cookies and the boys decorated. We did the eggs wrapped in silk ties. The boys were very excited that the Easter Bunny put some eggs in their yard full of fun things. We spent some time putting some funny stickers on the plastic eggs. Had a delicious dinner, played cards and held Isaiah. We get to have him all day a couple days a week as Yas is back at work. Pray for her missing Isaiah.
Dennis is having all kinds of PT and walking mostly unassisted. His home PT ended yesterday. He’s been having therapy for his back and neck every day since his car accident. Thank you for the prayers.
Leaving for Emily and Justin’s after church Sunday and cannot wait to hold Stevie and visit everyone. Will stop by and see Madeline and Luis’s new home on my way back to Florida.
Sure could use some rain down here. Very dry. 50% humidity. The afternoon storm season will be here soon enough. Glad I don’t have grass to worry about. Just hose off my astroturf every week. Reminds me of spending the night with Grandma Schleicher and “helping” her hose off her front porches! Two levels! I think it was the only two level porch in existence! What a creative design. Between mom’s genetic artistry and the Nunnink’s creative architecture designs we are blessed.
Praying for the conclave and for whoever they decide should be the next Pope.
Be blessed and out of harms way!
Love,
PJ
Beautiful weather here for Easter Saturday at the farm. We played rummikube it was windy and the tiles don’t blow away! Ham dinner, hid eggs for Porter, made the cookies and died the eggs. (Actually Lacey did, girls and Porter spent the night here Friday night.) Church on Sunday and pond clean up time. So much gardening to do, was hoping for rain today so as not to work outside! Ducklings are growing, may get creek time this weekend. Both hives- our swarm hive and original are doing great and we are (mostly Nick) still disassembling the smoke house piece by piece. We jacked up the goat shed buildings, re- supported them, put tin from smoke house on their roofs. Then we were able to stack wood back inside. Now I need to be heading back out. Enough sitting. Dahlias need to go back in the ground!
Have a blessed week! Love you Yaya
