Happy Birthday: Porter May 4 / Noah May 4
Prayer: healthy pregnancies Natalie, Raegan, Katherine
Greetings from NC:
We got home yesterday from the beach and catching up on laundry, unpacking etc. We had a lovely week with nice weather. We did some maintence items while there. Hailey fixed the meals we ate in and our lunches. That is always nice. Good weather, food, games, and Mom’s crab dip (always a must) filled the week.
Mark, Rachel, and the boys drove from Hilton Head to Mrytle Beach Friday for Reed’s soccer tournament. Dean and I caught a game on Saturday and then one Sunday on our way out of town.
Everyone had safe uneventful trips home.
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Gatha
Good morning from cloudy Bashor Kansas! Where the wind never stops and the sun shines once a week!
Seriously, we have gone almost a week without sun. It shined last Wednesday when I was mowing!
Busy week here. Our neighborhood garage sale was last Friday and Saturday. I spent Thursday bring tables and totes from basement full of things I did not want to keep. I had a inflatable hot tub we used in Florida and some things in the garage like old hoses and coolers and landscape edging and my bike to sell along with alot of tablecloths and runners I used to decorate with when I had a formal dining room. Pool toys and just junk!
Friday I opened my my doors at 7:00 am and was about sold out by 8:30 am! This place was busy! I even sold the shelves I brought upstairs to put things on! I replaced these plastic shelves with metal ones after Christmas, so it was a nice time to get rid of them. I even sold my bedroom curtains I had in Florida! I had several area rugs that went fast! I guess everything’s was priced right!
So Friday evening cleaned up the garage put away a few things that did not sell. They fit in 1 tote! Did not have to open my doors Saturday. The weather was cool and cloudy all weekend!
Saturday I took down Spring /Easter decor and put out summer cobalt blue things. Nice color change.
Sunday church, cleaned house, laundry and book keeping!
Tomorrow I am going to babysit Jullian for the day. Can’t wait!
Prayers for Allysa. She is back home, don’t know for how long. Drama there for sure.
Steph’s so glad she is home. But Allysa needs prayers to find the right answers and to be strong.
We’ll need to run errands, looks like rain!
You have a Blessed week!
Love, Prayers and Big Hugs!

I just found out I am going go be a great grandma again in November! Cierra and Jordan are expecting!

That is exciting, praying for Allysa clarity!! We had cloudy and cool weather Saturday so Nick and I rebuilt our canoe stand, with smoke house demolition we have plenty of good wood for projects. Played poker with our neighbors that night, I came out even I think. One hand of pass the trash with quarters brings your stash back up from the nickels you lost on straight 7! Sunday church, then we went on an outing to The Exchange place in Kingsport for their annual plant sale. Our other neighbors, Mark and Lesu came with along with our doggies. Dogs behaved, Nick did too, I only came away with a hardy rosemary and a tomato called Japanese black trifele- pear shaped mahogany colored and very tasty is the description. We then visited a craft ciderery Gypsy Circus, I had a peach dandelion cider- didn’t taste any dandelion- but how would I know, I’ve never tried them. Somethings I would have to be desperate for- but the cider was delicious. I just picked up 16 more tomato plants from another neighbor. Getting the beds turned, pathway cleaned up, always a hopeful season for lots of bounty. We moved our swarm box and added a super with inside feeder to help them through. All is well so far. No more slacking, back to the garden I must go. Have a great week! Love yaya
Congrats to Cierra and Jordan! How exciting to add another sweet baby to our family baby boom!!!
Sending clarity and strength to Allyssa❤️
Kala- your kitchen looks like Mom’s entire apartment with all the blue China. Beautuful!
Raegan is feeling much better. I had the pleasure of attending her 20 week appointment last Wednesday with her and Cale. Baby girl is growing and looking good. The in depth sonogram they do now is impressive. She has all toes, fingers, 4 heart chambers all of her major limb bones etc! We’re all so excited!
Lliam is wrapping up EMT school. He’ll be finished in June. He’s not a fan! It’s a requirement. He just sold his street bike and bought a crazy fast dirt bike…I made him get an orange flag for the back like we used to have growing up. Unfortunately playing cards don’t sound as cool on this thing.
All is well here. Supposed to get some crazy tornado recipe weather tonight. Yuck!
Hope everyone has a great week! Love Y’all

Made it to Nashville. Drive over Sunday after church. There is nothing like holding a baby. Stevie is precious. She’s over 8 pounds! She had another checkup yesterday and a booster shot. She did not like that but only cried for an instant. Gramela will be holding her all the time! She is very cuddly.
Dennis is busy with his knee PT and back and neck chiropractic appointments so he’s holding down the fort in FL.
Praying for Alyssa. I’m so sorry she and Julian are going through that stress. Congrats to Cierra & Jordan. No shortage of baby excitement in this family. Praying for Natalie’s delivery which is soon. Love seeing the updates of all the pregnancies. We need to get all these babies together!
Love you all! God has a plan for each of us.
