We had had rain off and on all last week, in keeping with our routine weather it appears. Dean was able to mow in between rainy days, one day finishing in misty weather. Hailey’s Thursday night soccer game was able to be played in a small window of time between rain showers.
Friday, Brian, and the girls headed to Atlanta for the Taylor Swift concert…that was the girls Christmas present. Their best friends went as well. They all had a great time and were quite tired when they got home Saturday afternoon. Aitana hung out with us, and she and I went shopping on Saturday. Since she didn’t come to live with them till Christmas, they had already bought tickets which sold out right away. It rained most of Sunday, so it was great weather for resting.
Softball will be over this week and Mackenzie’s musical is this weekend so that will lighten the afterschool activities a bit. Soccer has a few more weeks left, including the playoffs. Then it will be all the end of year activities filling up most of May.
Dean’s second knee replacement is scheduled for May 31 and may be sooner if they can work that out.
