Good Morning from sunny NC.
We continue to get some rain each week and the corn planted around us is shooting right up and enjoying nice temperatures, knowing the real heat and humidity are around the corner.
The girls are into the last 2 weeks of school, finals etc. Kenzie is going in early every morning and learning the Xylophone.
We watched a lot of college baseball and softball this week. Mark was able to get us some tickets to the Duke- Miami semifinal game on Saturday, played here in Charlotte. His college coach is now the coach for Duke. Mark contacted him and he comped us some tickets.
I finally got all my herbs planted and now the challenge to keep everything growing 😊

We had an eventful weekend and a full week; everything pressure washed and cleaned for the summer, deck painted and screens repaired. Saturday was our get together for Memorial Day since I worked the holiday; another full day of kids from all over our neighborhood. Brit’s parents scored a fun item in a pallet they had bought at auction; one of those mystery pallets that you buy the whole thing. Most of it ends up junk, but 3 of these water parks were in it. Needless to say, it was used extensively.
