No Birthdays/Anniversaries this week
Prayer: Bill treatments/ Richard continued recovery / Deanna recovery from hand surgery / safe travel for Becky and Charlie on the road today./ Dean knee surgery May 31
Greeting from soggy NC… we had 3 inches of rain over Saturday and Sunday, and it was in the 50–60-degree range… not the most ideal weekend if you wanted to do stuff outside.
Becky and Charlie arrived here Friday and we went for Mexican for dinner and had a bond fire since it wasn’t raining. Saturday and Sunday were both rainy days.
Saturday Brian, Jessica, Becky, and I went to an antique mall and then back to the house for games and a great dinner- (steak grilled in the rain).
Sunday off to church and then home to a delicious lunch of grilled salmon( grilled in the rain) and great sides and more games.
FYI – we had the longest Phase 10 game ever (4 hours) – when it says up to 6 players and you play with 7 players, it can take awhile 😊….but we had lots of fun.
Becky and Charlie left here about 6:30 this morning…praying for a safe trip for them.
