Happy National Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Day

Happy Birthday: Nick June 13 (65)

Prayer:  Raegan, Katherine, Cierra – healthy pregnancies / Marcia-Annie passing of Annie’s husband Ed.

Good morning from NC.

The girls are all finished with school. Test are done, computers turned in and graduation is this Tuesday.  Praying it doesn’t rain as graduation is outside.  Zoe packed up most of her stuff and DHL picked it up to send home.  Can’t believe she flies out Thursday.

Dean was able to get mowing done between rainy days.  I will say my herbs/flowers are doing great.  I have not had to water much.   It is starting to warm up and now they are mentioning “heat index”!! .. yep summer is here.

Mark, Rachel, and the boys flew out Friday to Rome and are doing a Mediterranean Cruise this week.

We watched the softball world series; it was very entertaining.  A lot of very talented young ladies.

The “cough” has hit again…Zoe then Mackenzie and now Dean….hoping to avoid that !!!

Saw the attached photo on Facebook…sure brings back a lot of memories of these places.

What is Ashley/Trevor’s new address?

Have a blessed week.

Love,

Gatha

Keeping busy here! Weekend before last we took Pearl out to Natural Tunnel!  Beautiful location, cicadas were out in full glory, not one issue with Pearl.   Great relaxing time.  Volunteered 2 days last week at Depot, in between we gardened, mowed, separated lambs from ewes, then with Jared and Lacey’s help we got them loaded and to market.  All while the sun shined!  We met up at Sweet Bay for a much deserved reward when the skies opened up.  We got 2 inches of rain since Friday night.  But it didn’t wash the poo out of the truck bed!  Now we are getting ready for the outer banks with the girls this coming Friday.   Praying for the last of the graduation ceremonies!  May the sun shine!  Think I will go pick some rhubarb!!  Love Yaya

Hello from Basehor Kansas!

Happy Father’s Day, next Sunday
Kansas weather, if you don’t like it wait a few minutes, it will surly change! We have had plenty of rain. Not complaining. Glad I have a subscription to get my car washed. I get my money’s worth since Tim’s roads are all a muddy mess! Plus the rain!
I am slowly adding to my baby items. Now on top of pack and play I have a seat that attaches to my chair so I can feed Jullian. I bought a car seat that he can use now and up to 10 years old! I have what we used to call walker’s to sit him in, although now they do now have wheels! Thank goodness!  I shutter at one instance we had with a walker when Stephanie was a toddler! Gatha knows! Anyway it is easier when I have Jullian if I have this stuff. On Tuesday it took several trips to the car to transfer everything. Now we don’t have to worry about the car seat!
This past week I had him Monday and Tuesday. Mowed and did yard work on Wednesday. House, laundry and store on Thursday! Saturday I met up with our old friends John and Pat for dinner. Sunday Jimmy Ballou and his wife Dyanna came for a visit. We ate at the Nest(club House) and visited for hours.

This week I need to change the oil in the tractor and sharpen blades, switch mine out! Sharpen them and have Tim switch his out and sharpen his to have ready for the next time! Never dull here. Tim does need to help me get the tractor up on the ramp to change blades.

Deepest Sympathy to our cousin  Annie Bannister in the loss of her husband Ed last week.

Hope you all have a Blessed Week!
Love, prayers and big hugs!
Michaela

Oh I remember the walker incident with Stephanie all too well!!!  Kind of a Lucy and Ethel moment 😊

I am happy to report “Ed” the Zebra has been airlifted  out of a rural farm on Sunday and is now safe back home. It is reported he attended Open Mic night on Broadway at the beginning of CMA Fest and was a huge hit. He signed multiply autographs, took numerous selfies and even allowed tattoos of his likeness for many fans. All are thankful he didn’t come to the same fate as the poor bear in Sumner County.

Hi,

We won’t be at the fourth gathering. I thought I would catch you up on goings on here.
I have been having issues with more pain in my arm and shoulder since early spring. Started a new round of doctor’s appts, tests and prescription changes. I had hoped to have more definite news by now but I am looking at having a spinal stimulator implanted. I will let you know if/when something is scheduled.

Dan just finished his choir season with a performance yesterday at St. Joseph’s with the Arts in Prison choir

Praying you can find relief, Janolyn. So glad that Dan is still sharing his voice. We will miss you all at the 4th.

Zeke “graduated” from PreK4 and is ready for Kindergarten. It was quite an event. The graduates rode from the day care to the event center in Limos!  We continued the celebration at our favorite Mexican restaurant and then swimming.

Emily, Justin and Stevie went to comicon in Nashville and had a great time.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.

Congrats to our graduates.

Love,
PJ
