Continued hot weather here-heat indexes in the triple digits. My main job is keeping my flowers & herbs watered and keeping the hummingbird feeders supplied with fresh liquid. So far so good. The Crepe Mrytle’s are absolutely beautiful right now. I snapped a photo of my favorite color.

Good morning from stormy Kansas.
I had a great weekend at the lake with Tim, Lisa and camping buddies.
The weather was perfect warm for the day and it cooled off in the evening with a nice breeze.
Last week I started a series of gel shots in my Left knee, babysat, and saw Diane. My friend Bren lost her husband. Busy week!
This week is going to be busy as well. Today I took Lisa’s car in to get a tire fixed for a slow leak! Well you know, of course the place where the nail was could not be plugged. 4 new tires!
I am supposed to pick up Melissa, Bill’s neice who is in town to go see Diane today. Tomorrow babysit Jullian. More injections on Wednesday and a get together at Bill’s sister, Dawns.
Of course doing yard work will fit in there somewhere. Keeping busy!

Wow that crepe myrtle is beautiful. My favorite color too!
We had a fun visit with Jami, Adam and their kids. They stopped by on the way to their cruise and will stop by on their return. We’re heading to Sea World Friday. I think we’ll be sitting in the splash zone of the orcas and dolphins.
We’ve been spending a lot of time at the pool in between storms. We get thunder and threatening skies and sometimes it completely misses us and other times it’s a gully washer. Those days we come back from the dog park with soaking wet dogs but Copper says we cannot miss his daily play time with his puppy pals.
Thank you for the prayers. My latest skin surgery went as expected. Difficult to numb up scar tissue and it’s even harder to get a needle through it. The poor surgeons worked up a sweat.

I agree the Crepe Myrtles are beautiful this year. We have record rain for the year. Our nightly rains have been great for the back yard. August will be summertime.
School starts back the 4th, I have my roller skates strapped on for the new year. Enjoying a few more summer weekends is my goal. Have a great week everybody.
