A quiet week here, just routine stuff. Eliza birth was a bright spot in a sad week. And Hailey came home Friday for the weekend to see Patches 😊.That was another bright spot.
Cooler mornings and the leaves starting to turn, have certainly made morning walks enjoyable.
Fun quote I saw this week. “You can’t tell me what to do, you are not my grandbaby”

Hello All,
We’re feeling so grateful! After three days of labor, sweet Eliza made her debut on Friday the 12th—and she is an absolute doll. Rae and Cale are settling in beautifully and adjusting to life as a family of three. Their church has been such a blessing, organizing a meal train that’s made these early days a little easier. Eliza is still tiny enough to fit only in preemie clothes, but she’s thriving—and so are her proud parents.
On another note, Lliam faced his first structure fire last Saturday night as a volunteer firefighter. It was a tough one—he ended up fighting the blaze alone. The three neighboring departments that responded had personnel with beards, which meant they couldn’t safely wear their breathing apparatus to assist. The fire was 30 minutes from our small town, and the house was fully engulfed. Lliam gave it everything he had. This photo was taken when he returned to the station at midnight—exhausted but safe. We’re incredibly proud of him and so thankful he made it back okay.
Thank you all for the love and prayers throughout Raegan”s pregnancy. We feel surrounded by support and couldn’t be more grateful!

We’re deep into fall activities with cub scouts and ballet taking over most of the week. Fridays have turned into our movie day, since we took down the old playset it makes the perfect spot for a fire, s’mores, and a movie.
Getting ready for a new job in a couple weeks, shifted out of retail for a contract position that is from home for United Healthcare. Monday-Friday and essentially probationary for 6 months, but hopefully less of the retail stress.
