Last week was the 35th anniversary of when Hurricane Hugo hit all the way inland here in the Charlotte area. We had only been here a year and were quite surprised by that event for sure.
The farmers had a window of opportunity to harvest the corn this weekend in between rainstorms. I can now do my laps to the mailbox and back without a surprise encounter with deer 😊
Zoe seems to be settling in well.
Mackenzie has been asked to add snare drums to her part in the marching band. So, she has been practicing that…adding another instrument in her repertoire.
