Good morning from NC.
I spent the week in the NC mountains with 2 good friends from KC. The 3 of us had not been together for 14 years so it was long overdue, and we had a wonderful time. I hate that I missed Katie’s baby shower.
Brian, Jessica, and Mackenzie visited Hailey for parent’s weekend. Thankful that the tropical storms off the east coast appear to be going back into the sea and away from the coast.
We enjoyed watching the Chiefs win on Sunday and how about the US comeback in The Ryder cup….not for the win but impressive day of golf on Sunday.

Happy Monday Family!
The Roy’s have had an eventful weekend. Friday as ai was getting ready for Kala, Pam and Lisa’s visit Charlie decided we needed to go to the ER. He had been in pain for a week, a kidney stone was Charlie’s diagnosis, his doctor said diverticulitis. On Friday he had a CT scan and sure enough a big stone had obstructed his function. He enjoyed an ambulance ride to a hospital in Nashville and had a stent put in on Saturday. The aunts and cousins gathered for brunch and Katie’s baby shower on Saturday. Charlie got to come home Sunday. He is much better and glad to be home. The stone has yet to make its entrance, but we are waiting with great expectation. 🤭

Good Tuesday morning, today is Baby Jullian day! Pure delight! Had a very busy weekend in Nashville with sisters, niece’s and great niece Stevie Jo! Sorry Charlie was not feeling his best. We saw Katie’s nursery, which is adorable. We did paint blocks and made adorable ghosts. Saw beautiful gardens and fall flare at Cheekwood. We toured the Mansion. A wonderful brunch put on by Becky. Katie’s baby shower was very nice. Good seeing the Rugby group. We had great barbecue. And I got to watch the Chiefs win.
Busy weekend ahead before heading to Melvern lake Friday.

Made a quick trip to Nashville. Stevie is adorable and very happy. She is very interested in everyone’s face and curious how many people are able to be in one place. Babies bring so much joy especially grand babies. Getting to be with Madeline, Emily, Stevie and Justin, sisters and Katherine is pure happiness.
Thank you to Becky for another delicious brunch and craft time painting and decoupaging. Mom would have been having a great time. Praying for Katherine for a safe delivery. Glad to hear your hand injections worked. Keep those hands elevated!
Praying for deliverance of Charlie’s stone as well.

It’s hard being a dog. Praying for everyone, a lot going on right now.
Trying to wrap up all the started projects before I start work again next week. Unfortunately, when one thing breaks it seems like everything breaks, so here we are fixing water lines, various electronics, gutters…and the list goes on. And while we’re at it lets throw in a 50 year old piano that apparently needs tuned like ASAP. It was a real pleasure (feel the sarcasm in that). Oh and after you’re done can you track down the cow that is running around the subdivision. Fixed the fence too.
Off to knock down the hayfield that 3 days of rain created.
