Good Morning from sunny NC and a nice cool 60 degrees. We had some rain come through and cool things down a bit.
The cicadas are still around and one night the tree frogs and cicadas had quite the concert going on! I found out that we probably see more copperheads since they like to eat cicadas, so I’ll be staying out of the woods for a while!
Kenzie had a chorus concert Tuesday night last week and it was the jazz and symphonic band concert as well. Oh, my goodness they were good. Her school is the academy of arts and technology, so they have some excellent musicians, but I never imagined how good it would be. Kenzie is interested in the symphonic band now as well, so starting this week she is going in early before school starts when they practice seeing what she might be able to play.. Will be interesting to see what she adds to her musical instruments. Right now, it’s piano, guitar lessons and she is teaching herself drums via internet.
Hailey’s school soccer has ended, and all the end of school year activities are going on.
Bailey had her last dance performance and 8th grade graduation. I can’t believe that next year all 4 of them will be in high school!!
