Grandma's Wilted Spinach
Ingredients
- 10 strips bacon
- Spinach leaf
- Sunflower kernels
- 1 red onion
Dressing
- ¼ c bacon grease
- ½ c balsamic vinegar
- ¼ c olive oil
- ½ c sugar
Instructions
- Cook bacon until crispy and drain on paper towel, reserve grease.10 strips bacon
- Combine ¼ c bacon grease, ½ c balsamic vinegar, ¼ c olive oil, and ½ c sugar. Heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Clean Spinach leaf and chop 1 red onion. Pour heated dressing over spinach and onions, serve immediately.
