Good Morning from cold NC.
Our part of the winter weather on Friday night /Saturday morning was snow flurries and some ice. Nothing major. Many were hoping for some snow, but it missed us.
Dean is still dealing with the cough , as expected with what is going around. Hopefully sometime this week it will be gone.
Due to the cold weather and lack of sun, it was not optimal for working on my puzzle in the sunroom. Managed a few hours here and there. I did manage to read a book so that was nice.
Check out these Chief’s fans!!
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Gatha
Good morning from cold artic Kansas! 19 degrees! But sun is shinning!
I still have a lot of snow on my driveway but still have a path to drive my car up and into the garage.
I have been busy taking Christmas decor down. As I took down stuff, I put out decor for Valentine’s Day. I seem to work long and hard one day then rest the next. My left knee keeps going out. It did not used to hurt this bad but combined with the cold and walking all day I have started to wear a brace.
I did have to shovel a path to the hot tub through screen porch and outside on patio. It was ice and deep powder snow. We got more snow on Thursday night.
Friday Deanna and Pat came over for a visit! Pat shoveled the driveway to make it a bit wider to get out and in. We had a great visit! What a nice way to spend the day!
Saturday I worked on taking down tree and Santa’s in the rec. room and the Christmas village. Got all the totes packed and marked and the storage room cleaned out. Now the shelves need to build themselves! Maybe tomorrow.
Sunday I rested my knee. Steph came over and brought my great grandson! Baby Jullian is now 2 months old! His feet are very long, big hands and his head is getting bigger. He is very strong, and is going to be tall. He smiles and coos and is so curious. It was so good to see and hold him. Steph spent a couple of hours here, but had to go home so Jeremy could have some papa time with him. He is a cutie for sure. Allysa will be going back to work in February.
I watched some football afterwards.
Go Chiefs! Gatha where was that house you sent a picture of? That was pretty neat!
Well I need to get out and run some errands, though I hate to go out in this cold!!!
Love, prayers and big hugs!
Michaela

The kids are FINALLY back in school!!! They were off for 3 weeks!!
Took the kids bowling on Saturday. They had a great time and it’s fun to see how they improve. After that I had to step foot in WalMart- I have everything delivered and all of the delivery was booked for that day and Sunday- ugh so we did that as quickly as possible, dropped off some dinner supplies to our friend who we were having dinner at their house Sat night before hitting up 5pm Mass. Then after Mass went to their house for dinner. Played several rounds of sequence- Adam and I won 3-2 lol.
Sunday we had our ride. Couple snowy pics. The temp to start was 39°- it was lowering as the morning went along. I think it was about 32° by the time we got done checking on KC and Hutton at Adam’s parents after our ride.

I rode my bike to the beach to watch the dolphins feed close to shore then rode home and got my boogie board so I could go out and play with them. It was a tad chilly so I didn’t stay in long. The sauna was waiting for me and the temp got up to 138. Took down Christmas decorations and am waiting for Easter to put anything else up. Didn’t shovel the driveway either
