Goodn Morning from NC.
Enjoying some milder temperatures here. We may hit 75 on Tuesday!!
Friday our project for the day was putting together new furniture for the sunroom. Very happy with it. Probably will replace the rug when I find the right one.
Saturday was Zoe’s birthday. Brian, Jess and the girls went prom dress shopping before going to a local college basketball game because Zoe’s loves basketball. I helped with a conference at church and then rested when I got home. Dean watched lots of basketball over the weekend.
Sunday off to church and home to chill.
Now to prepare for the Super Bowl!
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Gatha
GO CHIEFS

Good morning from Kansas!
It’s currently 52 degrees whew a heat wave! Not really I am still wearing a sweatshirt and socks!
Yesterday was in the 60’s but still chilly for me. Tomorrow back in the 30’s!
I love your furniture Gatha! Putting those swivel rockers is not easy to do! After the first one the 2nd is easier. I did mine by myself! It helps to have 2 people! Your room looks great!
Last week I put together a new look for master bedroom and bath. It brightened that area. I had a 9 hour sewing marathon. Made matching valances and hung curtains and rods. Made matching towels to decorate the bath and hung 2 floating shelves. One’s a tad off, so need to redo it.
Wednesday I went to Tim and Lisa’s for dinner. Lunch with Lisa Friday at club house. Saturday Tim and I went to the range. Practice shooting a a 380, a 9 mm and ar15 had a blast! Forgive the pun! We took 4 targets and took turns with each gun. I just have to say I got the first bulls eye. There were several after that. The competition was on! Tim did great! I did better that I thought I would. It’s been a long time since I shot anything but a bee bee gun!
After the range we went to eat at Wyandotte bar b que there sandwiches are so good! Great day!
Sunday we went to a birthday party for Diane at her nursing home. Had a great turn out. Some of the teachers she working with came. Then Tim Lisa and Ellaina and I went to Nick and Jake’s for dinner. I had grits for the first time ever! They were cheesy with jalapeños. Pretty good!
Stephanie and family are driving back today from Louisiana where they attended Jeremy’s brother’s funeral.
Friday family coming over for Feb. birthday dinner. I am making seafood lasagna! First time for this recipe. How bad can anything be with crab and shrimp in it!
Have a water company meeting, girls luncheon and consultation for Lisa’s knees this week. In the meantime planing camping trips for the summer. Never boring.
Have a Blessed week!
Love, Prayers and Big hugs!
Michaela

Got to hold little Isaiah Saturday. Nothing like holding a sleeping baby! Yasmin is exhausted but enjoying her time off with the boys. She cooked a delicious dinner for us.
Emily is doing great. Will be getting another ultrasound soon. She and Justin are taking up carpet on their first floor and putting down vinyl flooring planks. Will be finishing the baby’s room soon. Getting very excited.
Maddie and Luis found a house to buy in Ball Ground off of I75 north of Atlanta. Beautiful new home. They close end of March. She and Luis are coming down here for Valentine’s weekend. Looking forward to that.
My choirs are in full swing. My community choir is growing-up to 27. 12 Sopranos! My church choir is up to 9! Love getting to sing. Need to advertise for more piano students.
Nice and warm here today! Maybe pool time! Had Mexican with my community choir members!
