Happy National cream cheese brownie day

Happy Birthday: Stephanie C Feb 9 / Asher Feb 10 / Riley Feb. 13

Happy Anniversary:  Katherine & Robert Feb. 10 / Dean & Gatha Feb. 11

Good Morning from NC.  We had a week of some really nice weather and some cool weather…80 one day 55 the next day followed by 76.   But looks like we are in for a cooler rainy week.

Pretty normal week here.  Brian went down sick on Thursday but has seem to have rebounded somewhat.  I went down sick Friday night and have not rebounded.  Cough, achy body and no strength.  I watched the Chiefs game from bed.  Hoping to turn the corner soon.

Sad day for the Chiefs fans.

Have a blessed week,

Love,

Gatha

So sorry to hear that you are not feeling well Gatha. Pray You get well soon. Prayers for Justin also, who is very sick and in the hospital. Patrick shoulder surgery on Wednesday.

Well the Chiefs game was a blow out, not even a good game to watch unless you were an eagle.  Happy Monday, or not, I guess we will have to “deal with it”. Probably a lot of people with those t-shirts will not be wearing them again.

It’s cold here today. Expecting a winter event Tuesday and Wednesday could get 6 inches of snow on Wednesday. Oh boy can wait! I am going to go take Diane out today, then stay in the rest of the week.

Friday we celebrated February’s birthday’s by having seafood lasagna. It was pretty good. It took a whole day for me to prep and cook it. But it was worth it, many steps to putting together the final casserole to bake.

Saturday I spent getting everything back in order. Put all the china up, chairs downstairs changing table cloth, and doing laundry. Got my things ready for the big football game on Sunday.

After church, it seemed like the Super Bowl would never start. I went to Tim and Lisa’s with a few friends. It was a dumb game. Most exciting part was the coin toss! I am glad we pre watched the commercials we got to see.  The half time show was a bust, as us who do not like rapping could not understand anything that came out of their mouths. Other than that, Chiefs need to find out how to hold 3 tons on the defensive line to keep from mowing our offense down. We won’t say anything about # 15 having an off day. Or rather, he took the day off, not sure.
Looking forward to next year, and the Royals!

Hope You have a Blessed week!
Love, Prayers and Big Hugs,
Kala

On to life without wearing Chiefs shirts. I was planning a trip down to Disney World to see the parade.  Frustrating game to watch. Our defense should be sore and exhausted today. They were on the field most the game. But they executed their game plan-shut down Barkley. The one offsides call on 90 taking away the sack was the turning point. Why wouldn’t one of the coaches see he was lining up offsides for the 3 previous plays.  I was hoping it was just the camera angle.  On to next year. Feel bad for Mahomes.

Thank you for the prayers. Emily took Justin to the ER at 3am. He’s had a fever for a few days. Thought it was the flu but it was his diverticulitis and Covid  Thinking he has a rupture and needs to be moved to a hospital. Pray Emily stays healthy. Her due date is April 15th.

Spent the last week moving our useless furniture and boxes from our garage in Sanford to a garage here in deland. If they wasn’t exhausting enough we put together a pergola and outdoor furniture for our little back yard. Cooper is enjoying our built in doggie door. He’s only known long apartment hallways and leash walks.   Our new address is 1276 Blue ***.

Looking forward to Maddie and Luis’s visit this weekend.

God bless us all.
Love,
PJ
