Good morning from NC: Hope all the dad’s had a great Father’s Day.
It was a busy week. Graduation was on/time change/ finally off Tuesday due to weather and then finally was able to be done on Wednesday night. Still hard to believe Hailey is done with high school and heading to college. We had a bug going through the family, but everyone was ok for graduation. Dean is still battling his cough, Brian and I had cold like stuff, he was ok for graduation, I came down with it Thursday. Hailey went down Saturday night after she got home from work. Hopefully, she will be feeling better soon. So far Jessica and her parents who were here for graduation have avoided it.
Thursday Zoe flew out to return home to Hamburg and arrived safely. .
Mark and crew fly back in today from their Mediterranean cruise. Looking forward to hearing about it.
Dean & I and Brian’s crew are heading to the beach today for the week. It is great timing to rest up from all the craziness of the end of school. Certainly, the salt air will be the cure for everyone!
Have a blessed week.
Love,
Gatha
Perfect beach timing. Healing for all. Safe travels. Lisa and Nick watch out for Jaws!
Watched the US Open and had pool time with the grandkids. Very hot here!
Everyone have a blessed week. Be an example of God everywhere you go!
Love and prayers,

Good afternoon! From Basehor Kansas. The weather for mid of June is warm, finally.
Last week I babysat Jullian. I sharpened my lawn mower blades, changed the tractor oil, spark plugs, fule filer, air filter greased the axels, and got the tractor running like new. I then mowed where I could. The Water company dug a big hole in my front yard to tap into the water main for the house across the street. They completed the job and laid sod on Thursday. My yard looked great before that. Oh well. Now I am watering more than I would have to keep the sod alive.
I went to the lake with Tim and Lisa this weekend. It was very nice. We actually got to swim in the lake this time. The water temp was 72. We spent the whole day Saturday on the lake. We came home Sunday afternoon. It was a great weekend.
When I got home I had to immediately water my sod, which had turned a little crisp, in spite of the sprinkler system watering once a day.
This week I will babysit tomorrow, and get a tooth prepped for a crown on Wednesday, and mow before planning on going back to the lake this next weekend.
Hope You all have a Blessed week! Safe travels, Love, Prayers and Big Hugs.
Michaela
