Good Monday Morning from NC:
Enjoying the fall temperatures and the color of the leaves. We had our first frost on Saturday and Christmas decorating has begun here. Jessica is almost done; I have just started and have a way to go.
I am on a mission to get all my Christmas themed puzzles done before Christmas Day.😊
Dean got into a bunch of fire ants on Friday, and he has many, many bites…
We watched the world series and enjoyed the Dodgers winning.. Dean saw all the games and stayed up to watch the 18-hour overtime game.
Have a blessed week.
Love,
Gatha
Good morning from cool Kansas! We had our first frost Sunday morning!
I am on notice for Jury duty for the month of November. So far not needed, have to call in every Monday evening.
I watched the World Series also it was a good series. Glad the Dodgers won. Blue Jays played a great series as well.
Cleaned out flower beds, Mowed and brought in the garden ornaments and hoses, getting ready for the frost. Still need to cut back plants and trim overgrown bushes. Today I hope.
Tried to get Bills truck charged up and running. The battery was dead I think. I drove it for an hour Saturday. Brought it home and tried to start it again. It did not start. Chris my nephew is coming over tonight to check it out. Battery or starter or just bad gas. It sat for a couple of months without being run. My bad.
Jullian is starting to go to a day care today. Praying that goes well. I am still on call for when he gets sick.
My shoulder is better now that I let Jullian craw everywhere, and don’t pick him up as much. But then there is still weed eating and mowing and everything else. I call it therapy! Thanks for the prayers.
Hope you all have a blessed week!
Love, prayers and big hugs!

Beautiful weather in FL. 72 today. The zinnias Becky gave us at Emily’s shower are still blooming and the butterflies are enjoying them. The inpatients are still in full bloom. Fall in FL. The mimosa trees are all in bloom and that gives us some traditional Fall colors. Some are yellow and some are pinkish-orange.
We had Halloween night with Isaiah while the boys and Yas went trick or treating. We played cards when they got home and they gave out candy. Their Great Dane, Fully, had to stand next to them to make sure they were safe. We tried golfing Saturday. Not sure you can call it golf. We hit a little white ball a lot. Watched game 7 of the World Series and couldn’t go to sleep after that. Glad for the extra hour of sleep before church.
I guess we better all sign up to play the front line for the Chiefs! The resident Bronco fan is happy!
Good blessed day!
Love,
PJ
Fall in Tennessee, we haven’t had our first freeze yet but the leaves are absolutely beautiful. We haven’t lit the pilot light on the logs and haven’t turned on the heat yet🤭.
On Halloween we had a fire pit in the driveway and invited the many trick or treaters to roast marshmallows, it was a big hit with festive music playing. The perfect night for trick or treating ringing in our third year in our sweet neighborhood.
Saturday the clock said Santa time. Charlie began taking Santa pictures, it will run through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I haven’t pulled out a decoration yet, but we did have lights hung outside! When the neighbors saw the lights they all signed up too. The company is Tender Tennessee Christmas and it is the best price ever, $350 to put up and take down. Here are a couple pics!
Have a great week, prayers going up for all! ❤️Bucko
Hello All,
Courtney made her grand escape from the ICU and arrived home last Friday. She’s still rocking the trach and feeding tube for now, and her daily routine includes a whole lot of medical equipment and supplies. She’s officially over it—and who could blame her?
She’s got a follow-up with her surgeon this Thursday, plus another scope to check healing progress on her stunned vocal cord. We’re praying hard for good news and continued healing 💛.
Meanwhile, Raegan is recovering from her gallbladder surgery last Wednesday. Mom and I have proudly taken on the role of designated baby snugglers—and let’s just say, we’re thriving in that department. No complaints here!
I love the Santa photo and glad Charlie is feeling good enough to be able to provide joy for another Christmas Season.
