Good morning from NC,

We had a week of nice weather, certainly enjoying that.  The farmer harvested his soybeans so now we wait to see what he plants next.

Thursday Dean and I went to Wilmington NC to the Mannheim Steamroller concert and then met Hailey for dinner.

Friday, we drove around Hailey’s campus before meeting our friends Mike & Kim for lunch before heading home.

Saturday, Brian, Jessica, and Kenzie went to the Appalachian Football game and enjoyed the win and being back at their college campus.  Patches hung with us for the day.

Sunday, after church we enjoyed the Chiefs comeback win!

Have a blessed week and Happy Thanksgiving !

Love,

Gatha

Good morning from damp, Basehor Kansas. We really need the rain, grateful for the light mist.

Last week I put all the screened porch things away covered the furniture, rolled up the rugs then covered the ac unit. Took as much as I could downstairs and brought Christmas totes up in exchange. I took all of autumn decor down and put in storage. The decorating has begun.

I got my tractor back. There were 2 pulleys the seized up. Needed a new belt also. Was not too expensive.

Saturday Lisa and Ellaina came over to help put up outside decorations. I added a nutcracker to my outdoors decor. It all turned out good. I have a few things to do like wrap lights around the front porch column.

Saturday night I went to our friends, John and Pats 70 th wedding anniversary. It was in Stillwell,KS. It was so great to see all our old friends and their kids and grandkids. We had Zarda barbecue for dinner.

Sunday I had to stay home something disagreed with my stomach. I put up 2 Christmas trees and upstairs is all finished decorating for Christmas. I have the rec room and village to go.

Hope you all have a Blessed Thanksgiving. I am Thankful, Grateful, and Blessed to have all of you in my life and for all the wonderful blessings we have been given this year.

Love, prayers and Big Hugs!
Michaela
