Hot Buttered Rum
Ingredients
Batter
- 1 qt French vanilla ice cream
- 1 lb butter (not margarine)
- 1 lb light brown sugar
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp nutmeg
Drink Mix
- 3 tbsp batter
- 1 jigger rum
- 6 oz boiling water
Instructions
Batter
- Let 1 qt French vanilla ice cream and 1 lb butter (not margarine) soften. Thoroughly mix.
- Add 1 lb light brown sugar, 1 lb powdered sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 2 tsp nutmeg and mix thoroughly
- Store in a covered container in the freezer.
Drink Mix
- Mix 3 tbsp batter, 1 jigger rum, and 6 oz boiling water to make drink.
