Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients
  

Batter

  • 1 qt French vanilla ice cream
  • 1 lb butter (not margarine)
  • 1 lb light brown sugar
  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp nutmeg

Drink Mix

  • 3 tbsp batter
  • 1 jigger rum
  • 6 oz boiling water

Instructions
 

Batter

  1. Let 1 qt French vanilla ice cream and 1 lb butter (not margarine) soften. Thoroughly mix.
  2. Add 1 lb light brown sugar, 1 lb powdered sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 2 tsp nutmeg and mix thoroughly
  3. Store in a covered container in the freezer.

Drink Mix

  1. Mix 3 tbsp batter, 1 jigger rum, and 6 oz boiling water to make drink.
