Red, White, and Blue Dessert
Ingredients
- 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ c sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp almond extract
- 2 c heavy cream (whipped)
- 2 qt strawberries (halved)
- 2 qt blueberries (divided)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat 16 oz cream cheese, ½ c sugar, ½ tsp vanilla extract, and ½ tsp almond extract until fluffy. Fold in 2 c heavy cream.
- Place a third of the mixture in a 4 quart bowl.
- Reserve 20 strawberry halves and ½ cup blueberries for garnish.
- Layer half the remaining strawberries and blueberries over cream mixture. Top with another third of the cream mixture and the remaining berries. Spread remaining cream mixture on top.
- Use reserved strawberries and blueberries to make a "flag" on top.
