German Chocolate Upside Down Cake
Ingredients
Cake Mix
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix (mix according to package directions)
- 1 can coconut
- 1 pkg pecans
Topping
- 1 pkg confectioners sugar
- 1 stick melted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- Prepare 1 box German chocolate cake mix according to package directions.
- Spray baking dish with cooking spray, sprinkle 1 can coconut on bottom of pan, add 1 pkg pecans, and pour prepared cake batter on top.
- Beat together 1 stick melted butter, 8 oz cream cheese, and 1 pkg confectioners sugar. Spoon over cake.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
Notes
Do not use fat free cream cheese (it will stay on top and not sink to the bottom of the cake)
