Chicken Pie
Ingredients
- 4 c cooked chicken
- ¼ c butter
- 5 oz evaporated milk
- 2 c chicken broth
- ¼ c flour
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 °F
- Cut 4 c cooked chicken into chunks.
- In a large skillet, melt ¼ c butter. Whisk in ¼ c flour and cook over medium heat to form a roux.
- Add 5 oz evaporated milk and 2 c chicken broth. Cook over medium heat until thickened to a gravy-like consistency.
- Add chicken to mixture and pour into a 9x9 or 10x10 baking dish.
- Cover with 1 refrigerated pie crust, trimming excess, and bake for 30 minutes or until crust is slightly browned.
