Cherry Bundt Cake
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 c butter (softened)
- 1½ c sugar
- 1½ tsp vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 2¼ c flour
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- 1 c Maraschino cherries (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 °F
- Blend 8 oz cream cheese, 1 c butter, 1½ c sugar, and 1½ tsp vanilla. Add 4 eggs, one at a time.
- Add 2¼ c flour and 1½ tsp baking powder and mix.
- Add ¼ c water and then 1 c Maraschino cherries last.
- Bake 1 hour 20 minutes in greased and floured bundt pan.
Notes
For Christmas Gatha divides this recipe into 3 small loaf pans to give as gifts. Reduce cooking time to not over cook.
