Eggnog
Ingredients
- 2 c brewed Hazelnut coffee (or your favorite flavor)
- 4 eggs
- 2 c sugar
- 1 pt half and half (may substitute with milk)
- 4 c heavy cream
Instructions
- Beat 2 c sugar into 4 eggs with wire whisk. Beat until white.
- Heat 1 pt half and half until very hot but <strong>not</strong> boiling.
- Add a little half and half to eggs to warm them, then add egg mixtrure to the half and half and heat, stirring constantly until it coats the spoon or makes a figure 8.
- Add 2 c brewed Hazelnut coffee to the milk mixture.
- Cool in refrigerator and serve in punch bowl.
- Beat 4 c heavy cream until stiff and add to eggnog.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
