Eggnog

Ingredients
  

  • 2 c brewed Hazelnut coffee (or your favorite flavor)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 pt half and half (may substitute with milk)
  • 4 c heavy cream

Instructions
 

  1. Beat 2 c sugar into 4 eggs with wire whisk. Beat until white.
  2. Heat 1 pt half and half until very hot but <strong>not</strong> boiling.
  3. Add a little half and half to eggs to warm them, then add egg mixtrure to the half and half and heat, stirring constantly until it coats the spoon or makes a figure 8.
  4. Add 2 c brewed Hazelnut coffee to the milk mixture.
  5. Cool in refrigerator and serve in punch bowl.
  6. Beat 4 c heavy cream until stiff and add to eggnog.
  7. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
