Beat 2 c sugar into 4 eggs with wire whisk. Beat until white.
Heat 1 pt half and half until very hot but <strong>not</strong> boiling.
Add a little half and half to eggs to warm them, then add egg mixtrure to the half and half and heat, stirring constantly until it coats the spoon or makes a figure 8.
Add 2 c brewed Hazelnut coffee to the milk mixture.
Cool in refrigerator and serve in punch bowl.
Beat 4 c heavy cream until stiff and add to eggnog.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
